Nancy Loewen has published many books for kids. Cute book that does a good job explaining a few metaphors. Great illustrations and kept my kindergartener's interest. Not as many as I would liked but it was a cute story.
This was a great way to introduce my students to figurative language. It gave them great visuals and they were able to come up with some funny ones themselves. Great teaching tool!
I bought this for my grandson who l enjoys figurative language. Wish it had been more explanatory.

great book to teach metaphors, which are so much harder than similes. I even learned more about metaphors!
This is a great book for IDIOMS.
Pretty much all of the metaphors are also idioms which made them more difficult for my students to understand when they had to writ metaphors.
